While I've been away working with the Barrington Outdoor Adventure Company .....Which has been fantastic and would reccommend them to anyone after a white water kayak/canoe adventure or some mountain biking thrills.........Scotty our ex-No 1 fishing guide who is now working up on Hayman Island has been back home and taking the new recruit and trainee guide A J out for some Snapper fishing off Seal Rocks with great success.  AJ's first time out and he was amongst it hooking a few good reds and coping with some descent size swells.

Ive convinced them both to come to Barrington for some white water kayaking and Bass fishing.

I've been told that the bass have been hitting the surface lures and baits with gusto in the Bulahdelah area  recently with catches of up to 40cm being recorded by some good mates of mine.

My web page designer and good friend Ad's and his girl are coming down for a visit over the x-mas break so I've sent AJ out to find out where the bream and flathead are biting.  We are also planning a trip to Seal Rocks for some fresh squid and a bit of beach fishing as well as a white water kayak in Barrington and maybe some trout or bass fishing. 

Ad's loves the salt water ...surfing and snorkeling....I might let him in on where he can find a fresh lobster or 2 this time round...the hard work will still be up to him to find them though !!

Unfortunately we have been out of action for a few weeks with major car problems and ended up having to replace an engine not once but twice so not much fishing news to report.  We will be back on the road and indeed the water over the next few days.
