Kayak Hire

Kayaking is becoming more and more popular with holiday makers and the Port Stephens and Myall Lakes regions provide the perfect setting for some flatwater adventures.  Fishing from the kayaks is well worth trying and all the gear necessary can be provided by Schos Fishing School. 

The kayaks are great for some stealth fishing in the quiet freshwater river locations when targetting bass or they are just as good for drifting for flathead in the estuaries or over the oyster leases for bream.

The kayaks are also great for the kids to play around on in the shallow waters of the Myall Lakes or the safe inland beaches of Port Stephens. (children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.) 

Try paddling with the dolphins in Port Stephens or exploring the banks of the Myall lakes on your own ECO adventure trip.  Check out the abundant birdlife, marine life and waterfront flora and fauna within the eco-systems of the region. (information booklet under construction).
